Andrea Musick,
Clinical Social Work Associate
Hello!
I am so glad you’re here! I believe in transforming lives through empathy, empowerment, and connection. I believe that a good relationship with your counselor is SO important! When your counselor makes you feel supported and understood, you are more likely to feel empowered to make the changes you seek to make! I provide telehealth services to Washington State residents.
Life is messy. Let's talk!

Who I am...
I am a wife, mother, clinical social work associate, and the proudest grandmother of two amazing little humans. I am a dog-rescuing porch swing enthusiast who loves unlearning as much as learning. I practice gratitude when I can, and carbs when I can’t!
I believe in the healing powers of an excellent cup of coffee before a day on the lake. I am known for my pep talks and typos.
My playlist can go from Elton John to Lil Wayne in seconds. I am obsessed with office supplies, finding the perfect pen, and funky glasses.
I believe in possibilities!
My philosophy...
With a passion for helping people overcome obstacles, I specialize in helping individuals navigate adjustment issues, relational challenges, life stressors, and trauma experiences. I believe in a strengths-based, and solutions-focused approach to life’s stresses.
I employ a compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered approach and aim to provide a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. I am radically inclusive and strive to meet clients where they are on their journey to living fully.
Whether you're facing transitions, struggling in relationships, or coping with past trauma, I'm here to accompany you on your journey toward healing, resilience, and coping.
Together, we'll explore your unique strengths and resources to overcome obstacles and create positive life changes. My goal is to empower you to cultivate self-awareness, build healthier connections, and reclaim a sense of well-being.
I think of us all as walking through life carrying a wheeled suitcase behind us. As we experience life, both the good and the bad, those experiences fill our suitcase. After years of traveling, our suitcase is overloaded and it is heavy. It can be exhausting. Even debilitating. We have used so much room for things that no longer serve us that we have no room for things like joy, peace, play, and rest.
I want you to sit in a safe space and open that suitcase. See what is in it. What is taking up so much room that you can’t carry the good stuff with you?
I want you to feel safe and supported enough that you dump that suitcase out and begin to repack it with what you need and want, and protected enough to throw out what you don’t.
My journey...
I spent my adult career working as a family law legal assistant in Texas. I have helped navigate people through some of the hardest times in their lives. Through that work I knew I wanted to do more, help more, and dig deeper with people.
I learned that more often than not, we want our story to be heard and we need to tell it.
After raising my children I returned to college and graduated with my Masters of Social Work from Walden University where I delved deeper into how our past interactions, current relationships, and environments affect us on such a deep level.
As a clinical social work associate, I am here to listen to your story and walk alongside you as you navigate the path you have chosen.
My clients are individuals
and couples facing:
Anxiety
Life Stressors
Trauma
Caregiver Stress
Divorce/Custody
Relational Issues

What therapy looks like...
I encourage you to schedule a free, ten minute telephone consultation with me. This gives you a glimpse into who I am, how I speak, and allows you to see if you think that we are able to communicate well.
During your first official visit, we will go over my disclosure, confidentiality, and my cancellation policy. We will then begin with you sharing what brought you to therapy and the feelings you’re currently experiencing. I will ask you questions to uncover things about you from your past such as how you were parented, stresses you experienced growing up, and your personal journey the years before you came to therapy. This is not an interrogation and you are never forced to share more than you want to or are comfortable with. This is also your opportunity to get to know me better.
Our second visit we will begin to talk about what your goals are and how you will know you are meeting your therapeutic goals.
Therapy is not one-size-fits all and life is always changing. During our time working together things will change and issues may arise. The direction of therapy is up to you. I believe you are the expert on you and what you’re feeling! I use a client-directed approach and allow you to decide what is valuable during our session.
